Before reading this, I had no idea of the themes and fears that surrounded the film itself. Boy, does Kate Egan not hesitate in depicting the male fears Ash faces, what he has to discard and overcome in regards to love in order to survive and how stronger the female demons are than the male one is. Not to worry. She knows of the behind-the-stories behind this film so she just does a brief recap into the before and production aspect of it, which is quite informative, especially in regards to how Raimi and Co. met and worked together. Recommended for fans of the first movie and of the trilogy itself.
