This machine is excellent for use as a home sugar cane juice extractor. It is compact, has a good gear ratio for comfortable turning and includes a wheel for adapting a small motor by a fan belt. Stainless steel parts are easy to clean. The juice comes out clean and well strained through the fine mesh. Large canes must be split. I pass canes through three times doubling or twisting to press out all the juice. The small tray must be drained frequently via a small faucet. The instructions suggest pressing other canes as well as ginger, lending variety to the juice. I have not tried this yet. I have only been using it for a short while, but it feels sturdy and built to last. The polished attractive appearance will make it appropriate for a small scale stand selling fresh squeezed juice.

I used this product to crush sorghum canes. Put a 2" diameter pulley on it, a 72" v belt, center of pulleys a little more than 24", and and 1800 rpm electric motor. I took 1.5 hours to crush 150 stalks. The machine is heavy duty and handled it well. I tightened the screws that press down on the springs to the top roller as tight as I how get them by hand. It is capable of crushing to whole stalks at a time depending on their diameter.

Initial quality seems good. It is very heavily built. I removed the gear shields to inspect them. It was an easy process, and the gears are heavy duty. The flywheel is designed to accommodate a fan belt. My plan is to attach an electric motor to speed up pressing. I have not built a table to mount it so haven't pressed cane. So far, so good.

Both of these products will give u serious problems and make you extremely frustrated even if you are advanced in screen printing. I have never seen such a bad press, I have had it for 4 months now and still constantly have problems setting it up with the different pulley's snapping off because there is too much tension and there is no way to fix or get around at all! Even if you are able to get everything stable and the tensions correct on all different sides once you press down with the screen inside the holder the screen is then tilted. For some reason some of them tilt right and some tilt left, and I can't figure out why! I have tried everything and I screen print every single day so I really have tried everything from looking up better directions to videos on how to put it together. Next the flash dryer can't even sit up straight, while sitting inside of the stand with wheels it tilts. Not to mention its just very cheap and you can tell while trying to set up, roll it around, and when it poorly tries to dry anything! When you turn it on and it tries to heat up it will get to the desired heat and then just randomly go like 50 degrees higher and then go way way lower. And finally the metal cage on the underside is in the shape of a bubble underneath so if I have put it above a shirt I have to physically hold the device up because it tilts ,as I said before, downwards into the shirts it's drying. Its useless and has been used as a table sense I bought it. Truly wish I could get my money back and buy something just a bit nicer, they are overall pretty simple products its terrible how bad these areRead full review

We have been growing sugar cane in our backyard for years and either cutting it into small pieces or squeezing it with a homemade device to get juice to make syrup. Both ways were extremely labor intensive and I know that a lot of juice went to waste. We ordered the Extractor Mill this year and are very pleased. It was so easy to squeeze out the juice and the stalk came out dry after a couple of rounds through the mill. It took much less effort than trying to squeeze it out with our homemade device and it went much faster. Also, the machine is easily handled by one person. The only drawback is that the cover for the machine has to be removed to clean it thoroughly. This is not a big thing, but it does involve removing 12 screws and then lining up the screwholes with the screws for reassembly. It is definitely not lightweight and requires someone who can lift 70+ lbs to move it around. I may have to find a rolling cart to leave it on permanently.Read full review

I grew some sweet sorghum this year and needed a way to press the juice. I purchased this juicer and it worked great. I first removed the leaves and then ran the stalks through. In about 80 feet of row a got over a several gallons of molasses. I did mount it on a board and attach a motor to it which worked fine. It takes around 15 seconds to squeeze each stalk. It did the job and is ready for another year's work.

There are no directions basically to put together. Just a couple tiny black and white images u have to go off off. One of the dumbest things i think ive ever seen on a product u have to build after purchasing.
