Takes some effort
I bought this brand new sealed in box, however i had some trouble activating it with my carrier, it takes a standard sim ( Subscriber Information Module ) most phones use a micro or nano sim. after some time i got it going and it survived a automobile collision,crazy kids, a rouge household dog and falling into ice water in the near by missouri river, still going strong. First time buyer
This is my first sonim phone and I love it. Switched from a Samsung S5. The only noticable differences are the smaller keyboard, smaller screen, no power saving options, and slightly slower loading when using Google chrome. Battery has been going strong for two days from the first full charge - and I use my phone for everything. I am hard of hearing and absolutely love how loud the speakers are! No problems hearing without bte hearing aids, and I've got bilaterally perforated eardrums. It is an awesome phone. It looks really great, like new. Delivery was fast. I have everything set up, and the SIM card from the carrier works. It was an easy install. I have the charging cable, so I charged the phone. I put some music in it, and my contacts, from computer. FM broadcast is awesome too, on headset. Works great.

This device is perfect for me ! It is also my 1st Smart Phone . I prefer a rugged, durable and water resistant phone. I had to give up my Kyocera DURA XP, which I loved, because of the phase out of 3G. The Sonim XP7 made my parting with my beloved Flip Phone a little easier. I do still miss my little Titan of a phone, but I also like this Bad Ask ! , of a device ! I'm sure in time I will love this one just as much !
