Beautiful images
This canon is a great "entry-level" DSLR, which means a lot more than it did a few years ago. This camera, in addition to having many shooting modes, also takes videos. I got the two-lens package, and was able to take great zoom shots as well as great "regular" shots. It does better in lower lighting than my last camera. My only disappointment is the slight delay between snapping and taking action shots. Maybe there is a setting I need to change, but when I shot a soccer game, I needed to anticipate shots or miss the action. Not a disappointment, but something I need to get used to, is the fact that the zoom requires me to rotate the lens the opposite way from my prior camera (a sony).
