  • Could be a little flakey.

Earpiece not Blue Ant's best product. First item was crazy. Even after reset did not function correctly on voice commands. Favorite answer was "cancel". Second one merchant sent has been fine. I really appreciate good customer service. These folks waited till I exhausted all my patience trying to get original to work correctly. It finally locked up my phone and that was it. Latest one seems ok, with good sound and volume. Obeys commands . I give it two biscuits, possibly 3.

  • Great feature but poor design

I have used the blueant q3 for years and loved the product because of the caller id feature. I decided to try this one out. It has the same features and more but the problem is that the ear hook port is poorly designed. It just broke within weeks of using, i have to use super glue to hold it , it thereby lost its elasticity. Yesterday, i gave a phone command and this deafening noise came on and it has remained like that. i am disappointed though. The q3 i have lasted 3 years or more with everyday use.

  • It's a great unit for hard to match phones

I love it very much and is loud and clear indeed. Has a tendency to pull away from the ear and so it's not built for ruff work environments. The noise reduction is terrific. Matched to IPhone 5c - 6, BlackBerry Priv and BlackBerry 10 and HTC 9 with no issues except iPhone. The voice prompts are great too. Before I go one (one little issue but it's on Apple and their poorly designed iPhones) and that is the alerts for text and mail etc will disconnect from the phone and route to the headset because of the poorly designed nonoptional AD2P feature in the iPhone and so keep your eye on your phone if you have any pending alerts and that goes for voicemail too phone calls will still ring the phone. Yes it can operate 2 phones at the same time if that's what you need. Great headset for the price for most phone operations that is just don't throw it in the washing machine like I did my first one years ago. 😜👍

  • Best bluetooth I've found!

Probably the best (not quite perfect) of several BT earpieces I've tried. Easy multi-point pairing and easy operation. Good loud sound. Another plus is is announcing callers by name, if in a downloaded address book. A related bug but that is if the number is not in a phonebook, it will start to announce the incoming number but doesn't complete it ('Call from one ....") The slightly annoying bug is a tendency to drop a phone, even when well in range, and instantly reconnect. This is the second one I've had and both have done that. That explains the 4 stars rather than 5. One consideration is battery life. My first T1 lasted I think about 5 years before the battery stopped holding a charge for longer than a few hours. Not sure whether that's good or bad. That was a late onset issue, in the past 3 or 4 months. This new one stays charged. I use only BT, even when not driving. Common sense to me and I'm amazed that very few other phone users haven't figured this out.

  • T1 blueant Bluetooth

It's great clear loud and a rugged I don't have to be petting it up. One small problem it's not so easy to be connected for the first time but after that it's all good, I think it's time now for BlueAnt to improve on that because I have been using them for a while and it always has been that way and I have been through more than a few but they're real comfortable on your ears so that's one of the reasons why I keep going back to them.

  • Best headset I've found

I've tried maybe 20 different types of Bluetooth headsets over the years, and the Blueant T1 is the first one I found that has 1) a clear, natural voice quality that no one complains about, and 2) works well outdoors in a moderate breeze. The clear plastic ear hook that come with the headset is fragile and tends to get separated from the device and lost. Also, the rubber ear buds often come off fairly easily, and some just won't stay on. These devices stay in my ear pretty well without a hook, and some of the generic rubber ear buds are inexpensive and work as well or better than the originals. In spite of the problems I mentioned, the acoustic performance of these is the best I've found - including more recent models of Blueant and Samsung that are highly rated, but still have problems with my Galaxy S3 phone.

  • It's durable

Durable with some weak points like not great sound but good enough I've found ways to get around the voice commands issue .....i say (call advance). then i say call and the name of the contract i really want to call..then it will dial that number. It takes a beating just not run over proof.

  • Only longer battery life would make it better

This is my second blueant t1, first one lasted 5 years!! And is still working just broken outside, voice commands are great, will notify you when battery 🔋 is low, who is calling you, and when call is over, I just wished battery last longer, only cons is ear hook that is loose, I bought a pack of different kind of ear hook and is soo comfortable, can say enough good things about my blueant t1

  • I can hear voices of the dead

Well I can't really hear the dead, but I got your attention. However, if the dead spoke, I would hear them talk because this device picks up everything spoken. I love how it fits on my ear such that I sometime forget it's there. And people seem to be able to hear me, because I get very few complaints.

  • My Second T1

I replaced my T1 because my dog got it and chewed the earpiece part to pieces - I could not think of using any other earpiece than blueant - and the T1 just works billiantly with all my different blends of lifestyle - driving, office, working on flooring tools and having hands covered in glues - being able to answer without touching the earpiece is so cool. Having the texts read out to me as they come in is also invaluable. Brilliant!
