Worth it, but not perfect
I like this boat's size, speed and it maneuvers nicely. It's worth the price but there is one downside... the woefully short time the battery maintains power! On my first launch into a pond at a nearby park with a fully-charged battery, a "beep-beep" sound and red warning light for power appeared on the handset after only 6-7 minutes of use. Be prepared for a very short cruising time. This seller doesn't offer additional batteries to serve as back-ups (I asked), but I will investigate where to buy another. Didnt work
We ordered 2 of these and unfortunately, they both arrived and didn't work properly. Wouldn't get up to speed and plane and the reaction times from the controller to boat were really slow. Fun boat for a small pool or swimming pool.

You see reviews about it not being very fast. They are wrong. Also the battery life is not bad at all, about 10 minutes. May not seem very long but it actually is. I did buy an extra battery on Ebay because my dog gets so much exercise trying to chase it. Yes a good toy for the price and I do have several remote boats. Got this boat for my sons 6th bday, even tho package says for older kids I figured i would try it out anyway. He couldnt be more happy.
