Good product.
For me the difficult part was the wiring. Get your furnace's manual and locate the "EAC" (electrical accessory) terminals. Wire the two transformer leads to the "EAC" terminals on the furnace. As far as I know, every furnace has these. This connection then provides elect. to the humidistat (basically a switch) whenever the blower motor comes on. So, the humidifier will come on when the blower runs. Now, in the summer, when in the cooling mode, you can simply turn the humidifier off at the humidistat. The other part of the wiring seemed logical and fairly simple.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Purchased unit as an open box but it was never used and got it for far cheaper than buying it new sealed box. Everything was there installation was straightforward if you can follow wiring diagrams and not afraid to open your furnace

Definitely not like new
The humidifer arrived with the manufacturer packaging inside another box. When I removed the external packaging, the manufacture packaging was deteriorating and apears to have been setting in water at one time.
