  • Lightweight with fair features

For a general type vest it's ok but there are issues for me anyway. For one the pockets are little deep and to loose like the pencil pockets on the right side there so big everything falls out and so deep everything disappears and you have to dig them out. All the smaller pockets are like that. I like the way the bottom pockets fall away when you bend over but what it needs are the large side access pockets. Those large pockets would fit behind those flaps easy. I was surprised and disappointed when I realized there were no real large pockets. I know the vest cant be perfect for all but the pockets could have designed a little better.

  • Solid but improbable

First things first, I like the vest. The pocket material and overall construction is good. The pockets are relatively roomie and and there are plenty of them for most tools; ideal for electrical work. My two main issues are the rigidness of the vest and the zipper. It is a little cumbersome with the overall design not respecting the tradesmans need for a vest that allows for full motion mobility. Additionally, the zipper is extremely cheap and will definitely not last heavy use. Velcro would have been a better option in comparison or at the very least, a good quility brass zipper. All in all, a good vest with room for improvement.

  • Very usable tool vest

I have been looking at these for some time, so I finally broke down and purchased one. The tool vest has some very nice features and is durable, I have received a lot of comments and have been asked where to purchase the vest. They are now sold everywhere.

  • Lack of decent design!

To be a $60 vest on ebay. Its not worth $5 in the field. The pockets are entirely to small. Every time you bend over you have to pick your tools up off the ground. Hammer holster is a joke. The only pro I can think of is that it would be a good traffic director vest. Other than that it's a total waist of time and money!!!

  • Not for field construction work

I work mainly in new home construction, where I'm in need of multiple pockets for nails and tools. I like the idea of a tool vest being able to maneuver in between wall studs, but it's just not as effective as tool bags. I would recommend this if you worked in a shop environment where you only needed to keep small tools on you not a lot of screws and nails or fasteners.

  • Bigger pockets

Everything about it is good except for that there isn't a big enough pocket for the newer bigger phone's

  • Need more pockets!

Let's face facts. Very few would be caught dead in one of these and if you are one who doesn't mind being ridiculed, you quickly find it's not quite enough. I WANT MORE!!! The pockets are not configurable, there are no fasteners on anything so every time you bend over everything falls out and hits you in the chin. Are snaps or zippers or velcro®™© too much to ask? Also there seems to be not enough pockets... Crazy huh?

  • nice work vest

the vest is working out great so far. only complaint i have is when you bend over to pick something up and have tools in your pocket pouches, they tend to fall out. otherwise, it works for my purposes and would recommend to others.
