    Find your canning supplies on eBay, people are hoarding them from local stores

    I haven't been able to find canning lids in my local stores because of the pandemic. Before the pandemic, there were lids aplenty and finding them was as easy as going to Kroger. Seems like folks are either hoarding them or people got involved in gardening and canning for the first time, maybe from boredom. I'm just glad to be able to find genuine Ball canning lids and bands on eBay at a reasonable price. I've been gardening and canning since 1989. Thanks a million!!

    Best canning lid deal we have found

    We normally stock up on canning lids throughout the year just because we know that we’re going to Ken and we’re gonna be doing all kinds of different things throughout the growing season. Since Covid hit, we have not been able to find any Kenny lives locally and we live in a small area with very few choices that we left in the grocery stores and at our local Walmart and that is the best we can do here. I had looked out of town and they’re just were none to be found even a couple bigger cities that I visited so… This led to be going on eBay and looking to see what I can find and here they were and the price was good and the lids arrived in good condition. Well wrapped. We prefer only to buy ball or Kerr lids and felt this was the best available purchase price. Very pleased to have found the lids we were looking for.

    Sturdier than bargain brands.

    Ball.... Kerr... Same company. These are better quality than the bargain brands. I don't want to mess around with junk when it comes to canning. The price seems a little high but I suppose the people panic was the cause of that. Been canning for 45 years then all of a sudden you can't get lids, rings, any canning supplies.

    We have used Ball canning products for many years and my mother used them when I was growing up so I don't question the quality of Ball products.     Ball canning lids are top quality. the cost of all canning supplies have risen 'out of sight.' This was best value I could find. It seems retail prices went up exponentially with COVID-19 and aren't going back down. Same as with toilet tissue, paper towels, vinyl gloves and many other items.     Great OEM lids, but price was a little high compared to normal.

    They are original BALL brand lids and work great. With the high demand for jars and lids right now, the price was a little high compared to what you could normally buy them for at big box stores. Watch out for boxes with a American Flag on the that say "made in USA", because they are "knock-offs"

    Reason for paying high price
