Way larger than expected and lever broke after only 2 weeks of use :(
I was very much looking forward to my toaster and I was disappointed with how large (and thus how much space it takes up in my kitchen) - I think would be great if you lived in a mansion and needed to take up space and had 4 kids and so needed 4 pieces of toast at a time, but otherwise it is really expensive and overkill for a toaster. Also the lever doesn’t go up very far at all so it can be really hard to get the toast out of it! Also then our lever broke after only a few weeks of use! Well thought out design/features , even toasting
As with all Breville small appliances, it is very well made using high quality materials (heavy). It is easy to use with intuitive controls and thoughtful design. It has a bit more feature and great long slice wise slots. Very even toasting leaving no uneven marks on your bread.

Toaster elements in center don’t heat up correctly
I have a new one and there’s a difference in the center element for both sides.. other than that it’s great shape. Not happy with the way it’s working. Shouldn’t be like this. Pictures show the difference in the elements in center both sides

Disappointing at best
I read so many great reviews and was excited it doesn’t cook evenly, and fitting 4 pieces of bread maybe if the were snack size for parties.
