Renew/ redo your goo!
It's the good stuff. May or not be the best, but it's better than most cheapies. AND it's a big tube. Size matters. Those tiny little packs that are 1 or 2 uses? Buy a spare! This will last me a while. I'm looking at 5 Xeon CPUs, to change or just redo oldies. Yeah, the factory stuff lasts almost as long as the battery, Crusty, dried out. Large improvement. Wash out the heat sink, new paste, and it's nice. Same with some video cards. Take the fan off- just dust and dried out grease in there. Make a copy of your temp sensors, before and after.
