    A cheap piece of plastic I won't use again, read me......

    I"ll start with; I used these for a job for a customer , and she isn't happy..... This is a two inch valve that doesn't hold back water from a gravity fed line in an irrigation system that is 1.5 inches in diameter. The valve pops open, the locking tabs to hold it shut are plastic and look like they will break easily. I now consider the valves a waste of money unless you have a very low pressure line to shut off. As I said my line is gravity pressure only and it is too much pressure for this valve. A waste of money for the valves, a further waste when you consider the PVC parts used with it for their installation, a waste of time installing them because I need to replace these "NEW" valves with another set of valves that will work. I need new valves, connecting parts, and about a half day to change them again for my customer who I purchased these for. This is a disaster for me because I need to repair the job I just finished, I need all new "BETTER PARTS" and all the repairs are being made at my expense. These valves did not work as I expected and I do not recommend them. In my opinion, one star is too high a rating for this device.
