  • Perfect Size

Had the 550ml initially but wasn’t quite big enough to house a 4oz MSR fuel can and my BRS stove. The 750ml is only an ounce or two heavier and fits everything plus a small chunk of sponge to boot. Very happy with it, and all TOAKS products I’ve purchased over the years. Cheap and awesome!

  • Finally!

Any titanium pot/cup for hiking/camping is an extreme extravagance, to say the least. To pay $40 for a cup is just sinful. But, it is worth it. I've been purchasing ultra-light supplies for years, now, one-per-month or so. I'm about done (for two people's ultra-light gear) and this cup nearly finishes a complete set of ultra-light gear. I had tried making the 'do-it-yourself-pot' where you use a Foster's Beer can, cut the bottom off a Friskie's cat food can to make a flat bottom and it lasted about 2 times until I put it in a campfire to cook some beans and the bottom just popped out making it unusable. These were the choices I made for desert camping in the Sonoran Desert in all weather conditions. For those creating ultra-light equipment - know that one chooses from a stock of gear depending upon the weather, the wind, whether it's going to rain, etc. My equipment amounts to the following: BACKPACK: Backpack (Packable, Small) 4.5 oz (Folds up so I can jettison my big pack and go hiking around my campsite) Backpack (Packable, Large) 8.1 oz (A few more pockets, I select when I think I'll need to hike with more equipment) Backpack (Deuter) 2 lb 3.6 oz Backpack (G4Free) 2 lb 1 oz Backpack (Archyotyrx) 3 lb 8.8 oz (These three are my main pack. I choose which one determined by whether I'm going kayaking or hiking and how long I'll be going. The G4Free one is the one I use most of the time) EATING / DRINKING: Bowl & Cup (Folding) 5.2 Oz (Those orange, rubberized, folding bowl and cup) Stove Kit (With Stainless Pot & Alum Stove with food) 12.8 oz Stove Kit (Lightest) 8.4 oz (Small Alum, forkspoon, Foster) Stove Kit (Esbit) 1 lb 1.4 Oz (No food) Stove Kit (Esbit) 1 lb 3 Oz (2 cup-a-soup, boullion) Stove Kit (Alum.) 10 oz (2 cup-a-soup, boullion) Pot (Aluminum) 7.6 Oz Bushcraft Titanium Stove 4.8 oz Bladder (halffull w hose) 2 lb 8.6 oz Bladder (full w hose) 5 lb 13.2 oz Stainless Water Bottle 14.3 Oz Thermos (Food) 14.1 Oz Thermos (blue & pouch) 1 lb 7.1 oz Thermos (yellow food) 7.3 oz Spork, Titanium, Sea Summit .4 oz Spork, Tool K-Bar Knife, Cord & Case 4.6 oz SAFETY / First Aid: Knife, K-Bar Necker Backer 4.6 oz Knife, K-Bar & Sharpener 5.2 oz Knife, Tiny China Necker 1.6 oz (With Case & Lanyard) Knife, Pink Folding Ceramic 1 oz (with metal chain) PSK, Altoids Tin, Small 1.1 oz PSK, Whitman's Tin 7.6 oz PSK, Tea Tin 9.4 oz EDC 1 lb 13.8 Oz SLEEPING: Mesh Head Covering 1.1 oz Sleeping Liner, GreenHermit 8 oz Sleeping Liner, Red Silk 6.6 oz Cotton Sheet Sleeping Bag 1 lb 5.5 oz SnugPak Sleeping Bag (Gary) 1 lb 13.9 Oz 2 SnugPaks Compress Stuffed 3 lb 13.2 oz Marmot Sleeping Bag (Chris) 3 lb 4.4 oz Marmot Fusion Sleeping Bag 3 lb 6 oz North Face Wasatch 30 2 lb 7 oz Thermarest Pad (full) 1 lb 13.5 Oz Klymit Inertia X Lite Ultralight Backpacking Pad 6.1 Oz Klymit Static V 1 lb 3.6 oz (19.6 oz) Pillow, Thermarest Pad 5.6 oz Pillow, Inflatable (China) 9.2 oz Chinook Bivvy with Poles 2 lb 4 oz North Face TreeFrog (no fly 3.14 lb North Face TreeFrog (fly) 6 lb 1.0 oz North Face (Old Fly) 2 lb 1.6 oz MSR Tent (no fly) 1 lb 1.2 oz MSR Tent (with fly) 2 lb 0.1 oz MSR Tent poles and pegs 9.7 oz SOL Lite 5.3 oz SOL Escape 8.5 oz Poncho Tent (Silicon) 9.9 oz Poncho Tent (Chamo) 10.7 oz Mesh Tent from China 1 lb 6.8 oz (With water shoot pole) Mesh Tent & Poncho/Tent Compressed in SnugPak Sack 2 lb 2 oz Mesh Tent & 2 Liners Compressed in Red SnugPack Sack 2 lb 7.4 oz Northface Treefrog Ftprint 12 oz CLOTHING: Raincoat (Gary's) 6.8 oz Raincoat (Chris's) 5.6 oz Jacket, Sierra Designs 7.4 oz (Stuffed into pocket; 7.6/ sack Jacket, Down Puffer 9 oz (11.1 in Black Bottle Case) Jacket, Black 1 lb 1.6 oz Patagonia (Gary's Old) 1 lb 9.7 oz Patagonia (Gary's New) 1 lb 11.1 Oz Shirt, Capeline in Stuff 6.1 oz Gloves, Magic 1.6 oz Socks, Wool / Angora 1.9 oz ELECTRONICS: Lumix Camera 10.6 Oz Flashlight (Large metal) 6.1 Oz Flashlight (small metal) 3.3 oz Nexus 10.2 oz Samsung 6.9 oz Speaker (Bluetooth) 3.4 oz SACKS and BAGS: Compression Sack (Small) 3.4 oz Compression Sack (Large, Black) 4.8 oz 2 Trash Bags, White 2.7 oz 2 Trash Bags, DS 33 Gal 1.3 oz (Dollar Store, Fits 1/3 in Bag) Gray Zipper Bag 3.1 oz Black Zipper Bag 3.9 oz Black Bottle Zippered Case 2.1 oz TOILETRIES: Purell (Teeny bit) 1 oz Toilet Paper (Half Roll) 2.2 oz Vanity Bag 5.9 oz

  • Great Combo Set

I bought this set to replace a set that was larger. I was using a little larger pot with a separate 600 mm cup. I like this set because it nests and I can put my stove in the cup. Used it on a recent trip to the Appalachian Trail and I am extremely happy with the set. Light weight which is important. I would highly recommend this set if you want a compact set for backpacking.

  • Preforms as advertised

The size and function of the pot-cup is perfect for most uses, such as boiling water or heating soups in. Only you can decide if having such a item in titanium is worth the price to you.

  • Very practical and light!

Being very light doesn’t indicate it isn’t sturdy. This 750ml cup makes great cook too. This cup requires involvement in anyone’s adventure.

  • It’s light but not refined

It’s seems to be a raw form and like other titanium products is just not a good feel. This also make cleaning more of a task. It needs polishing of sealing or ?
