I grew up on CKY, Jackass, Wild Boys, etc. so I love this stuff. So to paint a picture; Bam had a ton of money and free reign to do whatever MTV would let them air. I believe the budget was $200k per episode, so the crew just figured out how they could spend every penny on each episode. You'll see the CKY crew at some of their most destructive point. As someone looking back at this in 2019 it does bring up some weird feelings now that everyone has spoken about the drug use and drinking, but it's a unique unruly series. To someone watching this with out the backstory you'll probably just be appalled and stunned, but once you accept it it's hilarious. Very important series of its era on the air. I believe it was the most highly viewed show on MTV back then. Do yourself a favor and watch the whole series! Then also check out Jackass, Wild Boys and CKY. CKY is definitely the golden nugget of early 2000s tomfoolery that everyone needs to see. Read full review
