little known facts
after long and boring research , decided upon this unit to replace a black and decker unit I have... this unit is easy to fill, and set , but ........... the auto brew will not set due to excess heat built up on board.. wait a short period of time and yes it sets, but not before .. also, very hard to see level of coffee in cup when filling.. have already made a few messes because it is black... water dispenser molded very cheaply,, I am waiting for the hook to break off, which will make the unit inoperable. time will tell, I don't remove it for fear of breakage. overall ok... would I buy it again.. NO. did not come with travel mug as the auction pic shown either.. that was the first disappointment. coffee tastes good.. does not have that overheated burnt taste that most others have after a hour or so of being heated.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Do not buy this model
The warmer temp is set too high. Coffee sounds like it is boiling. I pick this product so coffee doesn't burn. the "clean" symbol came on the first time I used it. I had the other model without removable reservoir and it was great. Too bad this one had bad design changes. I really wanted the removable feature. So disappointed. Perfect function with minor flaws!
I had an earlier model, loved the way it worked! This one is designed even more efficiently, as far as how you fill the reservoir. It was open box, so it had one small dent on the face of machine...didn't effect the working of machine at all! For $4 more, I probably could have gotten one with no dents. Love Brewstation
I had a older version I loved. This newer one is almost the same, but it seems not put together well, I'll say flimsy but it works fine. easy to use
i love the Hamilton beach coffee maker, it is easy to use and the coffee taste great. I can program the coffee maker to come on at 7:30 in the morning and when I get up I have hot coffee that's ready to drink plus it will keep my coffee hot for 4 hours so there is no need for a pump pot or a carafe.
