  • Better than I expected.

Seems to be a high quality cable especially for the price. Works good for the ham bands up to 30 mhz is as high as I tested it. If you're on a budget or don't feel confident soldering connectors then this is you're best choice.

  • Excellent quality, excellent price.

I purchased this Cable for my husband to use with his ham radio. He was surprised by the quality for the price, expecting something less durable because the price was so very competitive. The cable is now in use and he continues to be happy. Definitely a five star purchase!

  • Works Fine

Just what I needed. Like molded ends. Only thing I would say about this wire and all wire manufactured, do not roll your cable while hot. The outer casing sets it self and is hard to lay out flat in the cold. Fast shipping from Texas. Glad they were not knocked out of business with the storms.

  • RG 8x coaxial cable

This coax cable works very good with my recent B-100 Tram Antenna. Great results however, make sure minimum required length is 50 feet for best results. I use 100ft. No problems even in inclement weather. As a matter of fact ordering another 100 feet purchase for my other element. Recommend this double shielded cable with little lost. If needed especially in cities it’s excellent.

  • Lightweight with aluminum foil and less copper

When I cut into the cable I found it had a foil rap around the center core , the braid was not the quality I was hoping for ,the strands where not as many and so thin they broke very easily . the center core was made of hard clear cover , not the soft white foam I was hoping for . looks like it's not able to handle high power

  • CHEAP CHINA MADE

CABLE WAS SO BAD IT DAMAGED MY RADIO AN IT'S NOW UNDER REPAIR. HAD TO CUT THE CONNECTORS OFF THE COAX AN INSTALL GOOD ONES THAT WERE NOT CHEAPLY SOLDERED AN SHORTED OUT. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CB OR HAM RADIO DON'T HOOK UP THIS CHEAP JUNK FROM CHINA..

  • Why pay more?

I didn't expect much at this price so I tested it for both DC resistance and RF Loss at 30 Mhz. What I found was that it was equal to Domestically made coax by name brand leaders published specs, Plus it comes with PL-259 connectors installed. This is the 3rd time I've bought this and it has exceeded my expectations every time. The last piece I bought I cut into several sections to meet my needs. Good insulation and 100% shield coverage with aluminum wrap below the copper braid. Why pay more?

  • It is COAX how hard can it be?

It is coax cable what can you say, you hook one end to your antenna and one end to your radio, and wallah instant static, ha lol ah well until you tune your radio and adjust it for SWR , squilch, mic rf, tone, GNF, ANL, NB volume and clarity. Then all you do is open your mouth and say Hello. If that fails you then you are in real trouble.
