I had gotten a replacement from the hardware store that was pretty bad quality. Took a chance on this and turned out to be better! The elements are secure on all sides which makes a nice flat contact to the pans. Just remember to let it get good and hot the first time you use it to burn off the factory coating. I would recommend and will buy again myself when my other elements go bad.

I bought these to replace my elements on my stove. And low and behold it was a great experience. I have used them quite a bit so they are just messy cause im a slob but they look real shiny new. Also they heat pretty evenly and real red hot. Made a huge difference.

The burner appears to be OEM, and works great. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was not packaged well. It had cardboard wrapped around the burner with plastic wrap. One of the electrodes was bent slightly. I was able to straighten it and not cause any issue with the burner, but I would not have had to do that if it was packaged better (bubble packing or some other way of protecting the burner.).

I purchased this burner to replace a malfunctioning unit on my Amana stove. This replacement is better than the original. It is heavier and is made with parts that are obviously stronger than the original. I replaced the burner and proceeded to cook supper. It worked perfectly. I could not be happier and plan to replace the other 3 burners.

Just barely fits (small). Also seems rather flimsy. Would recommend the GE/Hotpoint /Kenmore burner from this same vendor for only $1.50 more. Has addional ring for better stability and more even heating. I was trying to save money - bad idea! LOL!
