Even though the product now allows me to listen to the airband better than before, you need to be aware that the filter does have a sharp dropout after 128MHz, meaning, frequencies above, will still come thru but with noise.
I bought this product to help with reception in my environment, it has delivered, still, I wonder if, a notch filter would've performed as well.
I use the filter with an outside antenna: a J-Pole cut for the airband, on my third floor balcony. The reception with this antenna, combined with the bandpass filter, does improve reception. However, again, frequencies above 128 MHz, have a sharp drop off and interference creeps in, still usable, better than before, but, I guess this is more the antenna design than the filter's capability. Just bear in mind what frequencies you listen to most, before ordering this.
Since the filter is "fixed" to a frequency range, make sure your antenna has a good dynamic range.
