This is a great product for adding a device to an existing circuit at the fuse block in a vehicle. You'll ground your device elsewhere within the chassis/body as the fuse block is for your source of power/voltage. These are handy because you don't need to splice, cut, or solder any wires so your installation (minus any interior modifications for the device itself, of course) is completely reversible, at least for your electrical system. The original fuse goes in the socket/holder closest to the fuse block, and the new fuse goes in the top socket/holder which is parallel to the lead hanging off the side of the tap. Simple to install and to use, and built well. Highly recommend these for simple circuit wiring jobs. I have two of these in use for a couple of weeks without any troubles and plan to buy more.

  • Will not work in my 2011 Ford Edge

My Ford uses the atm low profile mini fuses so I thought this is the fuse tap I would need. Turns out the way the fuse block is made will not allow this tap to be installed because the fuses sit deep in the block not letting the fuse tap to go in far enough. I ended up buying the Pico 0956PT 10 Amp ATM Mini Blade Fuse Add-A-Circuit Fuse Holder with 2 fuses for it and it plugs in fine in my suv. Isuggest to look at your fuse block in your car and if the fuses sit deep in the holder this item may not work for you..

  • Works good

This is nice because both circuits get a fuse. Installation is easy and it prevents you from needing to splice into your car's factor wiring.

  • Awesome hardware

These sure make life easier. The fuse taps allow for the addition of aftermarket amps, cameras, navigation, etc. Easy to install, take up little space, except on my 2013 Ford f150 you are not able to replace the fuse panel cover without modifications. Not a big issue though. The double fuse is much safer, and prevent system damage. just make sure when installing it, you have the tap facing the right way. It's designed to work with the inflow and outflow of electricity. There are numerous guides on the web/YouTube for specific help.

  • Good quality for the price

Better way to power up an extra USB port install than tapping a existing wire of unknown origin.

  • ADD-A-Circuit mini fuse holder

The add a circuit was just fine but the fuses supplied didn't fit the holder. They were the correct mini fuse type but I had to file the legs down to fit holder. Cheaply made fuses!

  • Works perfectly but it would REALLY help if instructions were included.

The add a circuit works as intended but does not come with instructions. Instructions are really needed badly. Other than that works fine once you figure it out which can take some time if you have never used one.

  • Well made, handy little gadget.

A nice safe way to add a circuit. BTW -- the added circuit's fuse is in series with the replacement fuse; in other words, there's no way to insert this and wind up with an unprotected tap. The crimp-on connector shown is included; I distrust them, but I guess they're OK for really light loads.

  • Doesn't work on 2016 Mazda

Visually, it appears that the plug is the same size and shape as a low profile mini fuse, but it doesn't quite fit properly in a Mazda CX5. It inserts, but easily falls out (unlike a real fuse which is damn near impossible to pull out without tools). Got it to work by taping it down, but can't recommend.
