Nice compact keyboard spoiled by non-standard key placement
This is a great keyboard with the one noted exception. Keyboard is nice and compact but has full sized keys. Key action is positive, comfortable and quiet. The illumination is especially good - not multi-colored as pictured on the box but either red, blue or green. The intensity is adjustable too and I have found it great for working at night.
The big (huge for me) flaw is the key placement of the home and delete keys. The [home] key is to the right of the [backspace], which is usually a double-width key so where you expect to find the right half of [backspace] is [Home] instead and I find myself hitting it by accident all the time. The other strangeness is that the [Insert] and [Delete] keys are to the right of the lowest row. I don't care about [Insert] but my fingers expect [Delete] to be at the top right where there is a [Pause/Break] key instead. As an additional variation from standard layouts, there is no [Ctrl] key on the right. No big deal for most people but unusual and unnecessary just the same.
Looks great on our black PC desk and easy to see keys during day in dim room. Has a nice key touch and is the nicest mini size we have gotten over the years, well, the most expensive too. I ordered 3 more for our other PCs. It isn't wireless, but no big deal for us. Green back light at full intensity is best for our use. Very pleased.
I had been looking for a nice small illuminated keyboard for some time when I found the Adesso SlimTouch 110. Works great, easy to see in low light conditions, I am very pleased with it.
