Johnson Pump Mayfair 28552 replacement cartridge made the repair easy.
This pump is a direct replacement for my factory original equipment pump. Just add plug connectors to the wires, and install. Pump locks into pump housing with a simple turn, that's it. Install took about 15 minutes. Pump works great.

Easy install!
These pumps replace oem Mayfield pumps. They install easily, all you need to do is cut the electrical plug in connection off the old pump and solder, and heat shrink soldered connection to the new pump. Make sure you observe polarity. Black is ground and brown is 12v.

Good replacement
Install was easy. At first the fins hit the housing and wouldn't turn when switch was turned on. I tested power . Took the unit out and it spun freely. I simply pushed fins on shaft toward motor. Re installed and it worked properly.
