  • good supply for good price

The only thing with the supply is that it is noisey, still trying to figure out a solution without putting it in the next room, lol.I had a texas star hooked to it and when keyed up, the voltage didn`t fluctuate a drop, impressed me.what it`s supposed to do and it did it.Someone else has one that looks just like it for cheaper, don`t make the mistake of buying that one.stick to megawatts, good product.

  • Great product

I am running an 50 watt Export 10 meter radio and a 350 watt linear amp that draws right at 30 amps and this thing never misses a beat. set at 14.4 volts and drops down to 14.25 while on the key. Plan to buy a few more to bring my system to 150 amps.

  • light weight has plenty of current for base station supply. mine was not compatable with my ups unit.

power supply is fairly well made. it is light weight with 50 amps of current. it is stackable. the out connector is a bit hard to connect. it is not compatable with my ups unit. price is fairly good. power output is 50 ampscontinuas. its a good base station supply.

  • Stackable Power Supply

Very nice power supply , light weight , does a great job running a 300 watt radio , would order again . Fan a little loud but moves a lot of air. Thank You..

  • Maybe not for DXers?

The only way you can chase DX with this howling power supply is if you employ a good Heil headset. The power output is great & seems clean, but the CONSTANTLY running fan makes in not useable without a headset. I needed reliable power but not this disgraceful noise!

  • Think I'm going to buy another....good price for the equipment

Small compact and does the job....only issues are the power terminals....# 8 wire is about as big as you're gonna get under them....haven't hit the 50 amp mark yet, my amp pulls 35 amps at 400 watts out with very little amp drop... Good Power Supply....can't say anything about durability....been using it daily for the past month or so...so we'll see.....not sure on the warranty either...

  • good value But

this unit definitely does the job. It produces the full rated 50amps with no birdies or other noise like some switching power supplies. My only quibble is the fan which is louder than you would like and runs continuously. You have to locate the supply a distance away from the radio so that it doesn't interfere with the audio.

  • Minimalist but impressive

Good solid package with plenty of grunt for a relatively small package a market competitive price. My only comment is the fan is very noisy but depending on the application that may not be an issue. Otherwise good US built product.

  • Good High Amp Power Supply

I did use this for awhile and it worked perfectly. However, it has a loud fan. I will use it in my alternate shack so that it is further away from the operating position.

  • No more Big power supply I bought four of these I have to stacked in to running different rigs that needs 30 to 40 A these things are the best .

OK I have these power supplies over a year now I have another project coming up I will be buying more of these. I have two stack together to make 100 A The other two are not stacked I have the running two different radios in and running them nicely very little drop in voltage and I need to buy more and will be soon thank you Mega . Keep in mind the fans make noise like a computer fan. So for those that noise bothers them and keep in mind of placements in point. The noise does not bother me when I'm talking on my radio I don't even notice it and it does not come over my Mic . I just have to say this you have to be stupid not to at least own one of these. And I hundred percent recommend these.
