It is an updated re-release of the classic '70s original toy from Mattel. This time, Toynami has given the lizard a more screen-accurate look based on his appearance in the 1964 movie "Mothra vs. Godzilla." Godzilla's hand can be fired off as a weapon. There is also a switch that activates his blue mouth beam.

An amazing design!
I've always wanted a Shogun Warriors Godzilla, but when I was shopping for it I found this - a movie-perfect head sculpt along with all the other features I remember. This product was absolutely perfect. It was sent in the original heavy cardboard box and arrived without a dent. It was unopened, and the actual product box still had its shrink wrap. If you're a fan you owe it to yourself to get this!

Chidhood dream come true
The original one of this was my favorite toy when i was a kid. The only problem was that it barely looked like Godzilla. This new one though is amaizing because its changed design makes it look just like Godzilla straight off the classic movie screen!

Good investment.
Great figure, displays nice. Was cheaper to invest in this updated versions rather than the original 1977 Shogun Godzilla. I think this version looks better than the vintage one. Highly recommend.
