I have no idea how well this alternator produces electricity. I have not been able to install it.
I bought the alternator for my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. In my Jeep's case, there are three mounting tabs. The two lower tabs straddle a bracket and a bolt slides through the whole thing creating a pivot point. However with this alternator, the company did not create enough space between the tabs to allow it to fit over the bracket. I tried in every way I could think of to get it to fit. Finally when I tried wiggling it into place, the front mounting tab broke off and fell on the floor rendering the alternator unusable. I have emailed the manufacturer twice now explaining the situation and have received no reply. I suppose the next step is to contact Ebay and see if I can get some kind of satisfaction.
