Works well for travel
Reasonably well made. Its sitting on the washing machine for its break in test. I've had one of these clocks before. It was killed by the TSA when they inspected, then carelessly repacked my bag. This clock is hard to wind, due to the tiny vanes on the winding stems of the clock and the alarm. Time setting is a bit tricky, but can be done fairly well with some persistence. Alarm time setting is only approximate within 10 minutes or so. My clock was very hard to wind at first, then it softened up. The alarm will run down after about 10 seconds, which wakes me up just fine, but may not be suited to heartier sleepers. I like to travel with a wind up clock, since ac power can be intermittent and finding the correct battery can be tough. I'll always have my fingers close to hand.

Just Perfect!!!
It's just what I've been looking for and is so hard to find in the stores anymore! It's size is perfect with large numbers and glow in the dark hour hands and the enamel paint and gold trim are beautiful! The alarm rings loud and true and scares the tar out of my cat when it goes off and he runs like the dickens LOL! I love the ticking sound too and am even considering ordering another one as I love it so much :-) Thanks for offering this product!

Not the best
Took a while to get it regulated, but seems to be working okay now. The case is very loose. I'm not sure how long it will before it comes apart. We have had better clocks in the past. We like windups for the tick/tock sound. Can be relaxing when you have a few going.

Bought this for the glow in the dark hands and dots. It doesn't glow. Left it in the sun all day and it faintly glowed for a short while. Don't know what chemical they used to make it florescent. Maybe it is old.
