Olympus RC-200 works for the Stylus, MJU, MJU 2, Epic, Stylus Zoom etc... takes one CR1220 battery
As of Oct 2018, the CR 1220 batteries are cheap and easy to get ahold of, the Olympus RC-200 works well for all of my Stylus/Epic, MJU and Zoom slide open cameras. Just push the “remote/timer” button on the camera, set your frame, and push the single remote button and that’s that, the camera will flash it’s Rey timer indicator, the remote will beep once, and you have 3-5 seconds to get in frame. The remote worked for me at appx 10 meters and closer, one fresh cr1220 battery should last a couple years. The back of the remote body has a snap arm for clipping to your camera lanyard, or any thin nylon strap. The battery housing is located beneath that snap arm. Note: there is no option for zoom in/zoom out on the RC-200, this is a simple remote for shutter operation only.
