Excellent buy, for an excellent product...
I am a huge fan of the Helicore strings. They have great sound and last pretty long. I recommend them to beginners and processes alike. I know, everybody loves the Dominate strings. I have played on both, and I enjoy the Helicore better. Try them out!!!

Consistent string with great tone and playability.
Best violin string I know of. Consistently good. The aluminum A string breaks after several months of hard playing. I haven't tried the titanium wrapped A yet, it should last longer.

My favorite strings
Great Bluegrass strings, they sound bright and loud and have very fast response. Easier to play on than Thomastik Dominants and longer lasting than Thomastik Infeld Blue or Red.

Best strings at a moderate price
These multifilament core strings by D'Addario are a reliable standard for my newly varnished and set-up violins. Evah Pirazzi are better but more than twice the price. My only gripe is the e string is monofilament, not wound.
