This was such a dissapointing purchase and seems way over priced. The jewlery pieces we tried making from the silver clay were super brittle and ended up breaking within a couple days from firing it. We used a bubane torch rated to heat over 2,000°F and it didn't seem hot enough to burn the binder and melt the sliver all the way through. The outside would act right and look like silver, after we sanded and polished them, but broke after light wear and usage and we could see it was still clay inside. If you do purchase this, I would suggest kiln firing it and making sure your pieces are thick, so if anything the clay on the inside won't crack as easy.

The clay is not clay anymore once fired! The binder and water ALL burn away to leave fine silver in solid form. If underfired or unsintered it will break. If thoroughly fired with a torch it will only break under high stress or if not made thick enough. If you are trying it for the first time, get a certified PMCer to help you! It will be worth your time & money!
