Good for Cyclocross
I got HED Belgium tubeless wheels and needed a lower profile brake pad. My old wheels use Mavic Open Pros which have massive sidewalls accepting huge pads I was running old school XTR pads but they are to tall for my new rims. I noticed no drop off in braking power with these pads and they are quiet and look nice with my vintage XTR Cantilevers.
