A must have under $300
I used to have a neato that always had to be emptied from the robot itself, there was a dust bin with no easy empty since you had to remove the filter, smack the thing a few times to get everything out, and you'd have to do this basically every time you sent it out to clean. When I first heard of the automatic empty robots I was skeptical about their performance but after having the shark IQ AE for a good amount of time, it is definitely a worthy vacuum on the market since the leading roomba brands with AE are extremely expensive. Tracking with the Shark IQ AE is fairly slow but not terribly slow. It does a good job at navigation after you've let it do about 30+ runs. It sounds like a lot because it is, but it gets smarter and faster the longer you let it learn the environment. the AE feature of this is just great, it'll collect in a easy to remove, large container for you to dump weeks later, it's fairly big and if you don't have a lot of debris that needs to be cleaned then it will definitely last you thirty days. Anyway the vacuum itself lasts long, it's a bit loud, it has a long battery life to cover a living room a few times, has an auto stop, recharge, and continue operation which is convenient. Pair this up with a Braava Jet mop and you're set to basically never clean your floors again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This is undoubtedly the best vacuum I have ever owned. It’s very powerful and it works like a charm. I was a little skeptical about the self-emptying feature, but it really does empty itself. I only have to empty the large receptacle about every seven or eight uses. I named it Angel, because it really does seem “Heaven sent”, as I am unable to use a regular vacuum cleaner. Caveat Emptor
Vacuum has worked as advertised. with a consistently clean floor. on its third pass it got stuck under my bed and ran out of battery. More passes less battery. this is a used unit and I expected some problems, but it would have been nice to know about the battery. Because of the battery problem I haven't been able to try the scheduling option and I still haven't robot proofed the house. Vacuum works very well picking up dust and grit and delivering it to the base for emptying. I haven't tried Econ or Max mode because I haven't needed them yet. The barrier tape works well but is a little difficult to handle straight out of the pack. If it turns up on edge the vacuum pushes it out of the way. Darned near perfect....
I am amazed, happy, and entertained with this automatic vacuum. The house has never looked better, and is practically self sufficient. The only point I would improve is the navigation system, instead of a camera I would love it if it were a laser based system, so I can have it clean without having to turn on the lights for it to navigate.... but all in all it does a wonderful job!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Name it George
My son named our shark robot George and put googly eyes on it. I am so happy when George runs around the house vaccuming up everything! I have 3 dogs, two smaller who loose a little hair and one med size who loses a lot of hair and I love watching George just clean it all right up like nothing flat! My dogs just look at it and walk away, it don't phase them at all. I also love how George gets under cabinets like there is nothing to it. Now I'm not having to bend down attaching hoses to get under things. The other day I was impressed how George even got into the corners. He is a working hard so I don't have to. The best thing of all is that he goes back on to that dock and all the hair and stuff he picks up gets sucked up into a dirt collector container and it's easy to just pick it up and empty. Makes Life Easier.
The designs on this IQ robot are nice. It isn't as bulky to clean as past IQ robots. It is exactly like the first IQ robots to come out, but the dirt collection bin is a lot easier to clean and deal with. I am really super happy with it's performance. It has three speeds to choose from and maps pretty well. If the Shark app. was any good, it would be great. The robot vacuum cleaner is fantastic, but the app. that controls it is a piece of garbage. It is slow to load, inaccurate and will not reconnect, if the screen saver comes on. The robot is sitting on the dock five minutes before the app. says that the robot is going to the dock. An amazing experience
I LOVE this shark vacuum! At our age its harder to move heavy couches and love seats. This shark has paid for itself by saving our arms, necks and backs ! We relax with coffee while Sébastien rolls around the floor!! He is through and gets around the legs too! Gets ito the corners like I did! He is amazing. Learned our floor plan fast !
