Buyer B E W A R E !!!!!!!!
These may say Dewalt on the outside but they are not Dewalt made.. they are clever cheap knock offs. Take a Dewalt bought legitimate battery same size same year same numbers and compare them , from the outer shell to the inside components are night and day comparison between the two and the quality of material used, and battery cells are far inferior compared with the Dewalt purchasd ones. Poor quality batteries.
Unfortunately I'm purchasing these batteries because I have dewalt battery operated tools. If I had know the poor quality of these batteries I would not have chosen the Dewalt battery operated tool platform. Our company has a Milwaukee battery operated tool platform and the batteries last much longer. I've had to dispose of four of these Dewalt batteries over this past year. They will not accept a charge. I've used the jump wire technique when the batteries no longer show a charge light. But at a point they stop accepting a charge. Give it time
I’ve only charged these once, I just got them. But they took hours to charge. Fortunately they are holding a charge well so far. I appreciate the charge level indicator because I feel I need to plan ahead they take so long to charge. Does what it promises
I added this one to the two I already own and it serves me well. Enough power packed into it to keep me going without annoying battery changes--I have a few smaller 20v batteries just in case. Holds Up Well For Portable Jobs !
Hello, The Dewalt 5.0 AH Battery works very well in all the 20 V Max Tools. I use them in the chainsaw,string trimmer, hedgetrimmer, sawsall, handheld vacuum, 4.5 grinder, jigsaw and flashlights. Good upgrade from the 2 amp wimps.
The DeWalt batteries power my tools quite well including the 18 volt oldies. Switched from the 2 amp (which had very short life and charging problems)) to the 5 amp big big upgrade. Only down side is that they weigh a bit , no big deal with the lighter tools.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
