    Update your drill driver to Atomic.

    To the owner of the deWalt 20volt battery platform, buy the tool only and save cash.This is a great tool to own ,,I have purchased and reviewed the other brushless tools I have purchased and this is my latest addition..The deWalt brand tools I owned (still working)are mostly the old version,, I have been updating to the brushless lately and I can feel the difference of smooth operation right away.     Best in the business. Light, compact and powerful.

    As is usual with Dewalt cordless and brushless tools this impact driver is superior to any alternative that I can think of. I have been a high end custom cabinetmaker for nearly half a century and although their are some corded tools that I would recommend by a different manufacturers, when it comes to cordless tools there may be brands that come close, none are better. The tool in question operates as one would hope and although I expect to be proven wrong at some distant time, as yet unknowable, for now I couldn't ask for more. Hitch

    Good and cheap

    Great gun. It won't remove lugs but it will remove standard-sized bolts . its as strong as my 12v 3/8 brushless. if i need stronger i use my air gun... my toolbox has 12v and 20v Dewalt guns and this was a missing gun for the smaller fasteners that required me to use a 1/4 adapter on my 3/8. i also only need one charger to charge 12v and 20v so they are also convenient.. strong guns and cheap so if i bust one at work im not upset.

    Great value for small impact driver

    Great value for an impact driver that will last you years of home use. CAVEAT - It only has a single speed setting (unlike some of the higher end models that have 3 speed settings like the DCF895. The speed is essentially the same as setting 3 (high) as the DCF895. The only way to slow it down is to have a careful trigger finger.

    Dewalt quality

    The only thing about this tool that required user adjustment on my part involved the variable speed feature. It jumps from off to high speed with little trigger in between. With a little familiarization it becomes a no issue. Has good torque and batteries have a long life in this impact tool. Overall, excellent quality.

    This is the best impact driver available. The new Dewalt 20 volt design is a big improvement over the 18 volt 1/4" impact driver. It is much more ergonomic and fits the hand to prevent fatigue .The 3 LED lights illuminate the work area and stay on after the tool is no longer engages so you can see the work area before and after the tool is activated.
