I had 2 hurricanes last year and was without electric for 6 days. Now I am prepared and can watch tv. This tv takes 8 c batteries. I will stock up and change them as needed. This was the only tv that had removeable batteries. Most rechargeable tv batteries are built in and don't charge anymore after a few years...then the tv is useless. mighty features in a small unit
I used to have one of the previous models but it broke when dropped on concrete. A great little unit that packs a lot of punch for the size. Excellent for camping and travel.
