With 8 gigs of ram and an 8th gen core i3 intel CPU and Chrome OS, this laptop is blazing fast. Add in native android support and the ability to run Linux software and Chrome OS is fast becoming a serious operating system. The HP Chromebook x360-14 is a premium build laptop. It looks good, feels good, and is fun to use. I can't think of a better Chromebook for under $1,000.
