I have a copy of this notebook computer that I purchased new. I picked up the one on eBay as a replacement as mine was dedicated to other uses. Here's the scoop on this laptop: 1) Good fast processor (watch out as there were about four options on CPU to chose from when this unit came out) 2) Good fast GPU (Same as above. There were some options.) 3) Ability to have a large memory (check the memory on the unit you are interested in. You should have at least 4GB!) 4) Two disk drive bays (So, you can install a super fast SSD in bay 1 & a large capacity HDD in bay 2 for your data) --- Note: Replacement power supplies & batteries are available on both eBay & AMAZON for reasonable prices. --- In my case, I pulled the HDD & installed 2 SSDs: 1) Windows 7 Home Premium; & 2) UBUNTU 14.04 LTS. --- One final warning: As with any computer purchased on eBay, beware of potential viruses & BOTs on the computer.
