It was a lifesaver
How do I explain that it's the wrong one for my truck but it solved a 2 month problem. For over 2 months, my Explorer was hesitating, misfiring, firing into the intake manifold, and even using a very good OBDII reader, the codes made no sense. It was a nightmare and I replaced every thing. Sometimes it would run great then right back to it. I decided it might be the computer. And wow, to get one for $9. Nobody could believe it. Besides the fact this new one threw all kinds of fault codes for an automatic transmission, which I don't have, it gave me the correct codes for my problems and the cylinder misfire numbers I had never been able to get. Despite it being the wrong one, or the wrong program, it was a plug and play lifesaver. Wonder if they have another for a manual. Thank you
