Cheap product.
NOT an original PS3 Dualshock. Had this less than 2 weeks and the left thumbstick would have me going in counter clockwise circles. Then the right thumbstick got stuck and had me looking straight upwards a few times, plus it would start to squeak when pressing right on it. My cousin even told me it is the imitation lightweight kind that if I drop it.. it is finished. Pretty finished now as it is. Oh.. plus the battery seems to start losing charge right away. I'll have to go back to using Afterglow controller. Heavy duty and lasted for over two years! I made a mistake buying this so called PS3 controller. Decent controller, but is a bootleg.
This controller works fine, but the whole house can hear the joystick click since it uses poor quality analog joystick modules. The buttons feel fine and the shell is nice to the touch and we'll constructed but won't work for part swaps with actual Dualshock 3 controllers. I had to return mine since it was a bootleg and I could could not use the shell and other parts for my genuine Dualshock 3 controller since the standoffs don't match the original board layout.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Severely disappointed.
It’s obvious this is a bootleg controller. For starters it didn’t come with the charge cable, the battery dies with a few hours of usage and now after 2 months of ownership the controller will become unresponsive in the middle of gaming. No inputs work until you can get it plugged in. Refurbished controller
This controller doesn't have a single scratch, everything on it works, all buttons work properly and there seems to be no damage. But when using the joysticks there is a very obvious difference in quality. They are nothing like original ps3 from the factory. These are not as sensitive and accurate as original ones. They feel more like xbox joysticks than ps3 ones. Not good for players that use high sensitivity. Besides that they are great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Okay, but hate the auto shut off.
It works. It is a Sony so it will hopefully perform better and last longer than the non-Sonys in the past. I do not like the auto shut off feature apparently built into the controller, not related to the system. We watch a lot of streaming video and the controller shuts off in about 5 minutes, and we have to turn it back on every time we have to start another show, or even just pause it. I realize it saves power, but I prefer convenience over power saving, and I do not have the ability to change it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The real deal!!
I was looking for a new PS3 controller and now that it is obsolete it's hard to find a controller with both vibration and sixaxis motion control and the real thing not a knockoff. This by far is a real Sony controller. Even if it could be a reproduction it would be a very good one because this controller works so well!
