This fully automatic turntable features a built-in phono equalizer, allowing you to use it with an auxiliary input instead of a dedicated phono jack. Just place the record onto the die-cast aluminum turntable and push the start button. Moments later, the head will lift off and ease over the record, using gentle lowering motions to protect your albums. This turntable uses a servomotor and can play at rotation speeds of 33 1/3 or 45 rpm.The base of this sturdy turntable is designed to reduce vibrations to provide you with better audio performance. You can easily change the cartridge with the Denon DP-300F's new tonearm and removable headshell, making the job seamless. You can balance and mount any standard mount cartridge of 5 to 10 grams thanks to the standard headshell created for this audio machine. If you have a NAD receiver, you can connect it to the Denon DP-300F through a slide switch in the back of the unit. You can turn it on or off when you feel it necessary. You can also turn off the preamp if you have a receiver with a phono input that you would like to use. Automatic turntables work extremely well with home audio systems, bringing elegant simplicity to analog recordings. The automatic startup capacity of the Denon DP300F player was created to protect your precious records from any type of damage or scratches. When your record has played to the end, the needle will gently rise from the album and land softly on the armrest, so your stylus and album are safe from damage. Press start, take a nap.
Great deal on an upgradeed turntable. Only thing was I had to get a electronic weight to get a good weight on the tone arm. But that would be any turntable, this was my first time setting up a counterweight. It sounds great, plays my worst records, the 2M Red cartriage sounds awseome. I love the automatic feature, just press start and take a nap. The arm goes back into place at the end of the record. It does get fingerprints on it, but when you wipe it down, it sure does look good.

Smooth and quiet operation. The damping isn't great but good for the price. Very good entry level unit and recommended as such. I would definitely upgrade the cartridge/stylus for more serious listening. Easy to set up and align cartridge. Soild, good sound, and automatic with built in pre-amp/
This is a step above most players in its price range. My favorite feature is that its fully automatic. This is becoming rare nowadays in a good quality TT. This makes it the perfect kind of player for a Romantic dinner or to fall asleep/take a nap to. Once the music is over, the arm goes back and the record stops on its own. A very high Quality Turntable from Denon.
Short and Sweet, this is my second 300F-my first one I sold to a co-worker at a good price. Even though it's made in China the build quality is very good. Just a step below Japanese built equipment. But the Tonearm and cuing mechanism really shines on this unit. The auto features work very well and with a good cartridge, like an ortofon 2m red, it really does sound wonderful. Great Turntable For The Price But You Need To Replace The Cheap Cartridge!
I have a music hall but got tired of having to get up all the time to shut it off and get the arm up off the record, great turntable but I just love the full automatic on this Denon.
