Surprisingly potent little chip; can be very mildly overclocked via front side bus and is a good dual-core workhorse. Seems to work in every LGA1155 mobo I've dropped it in; just as fast as most Pentium dual-core chips of similar vintage. The fact that it's cheap and on the LGA1155 platform means making a fast-ish desktop or modest server is easily within reach of most hobbyists. Depending on the motherboard you can get 16GB to 32GB accessible to the CPU, and that's more than enough for a little ESXi test rig, Linux server or Windows host.
I bought this item because I was on a budget and needed to build a new computer that was more portable. I like the speed of the Processor, but could use a bit more graphics, If your going to go with this Processor get a new graphics card if Gaming or doing anything that requires graphics! Excellent Price for this Product!!
very good i loveit

Bought This after reviewing some other CPU's, I almost Bought an AMD Quad Core but decide to take a chance on this and it's an Excellent CPU for Home Theater PC. I paired it with an Elitegroup H61H2-MV, 4 GB Ram and an LG Blu-Ray drive. Works flawless in a Media Center Case with Remote.
