This is a great logic analyzer for debugging retro CPUs and digital logic cirucits. It's compact, boots fast, and has more than enough channels for most projects. Great for home and hobby use due to its current low cost. It's a bargain compared to what it sold for new in 1999.
HP Agilent logic analyzers are the best tool to debug vintage 8-bit computers and old hardware. They cannot do serial decoding, but have a bunch of inputs to troubleshoot the most complex hardware you can find.
