More than expected
There are many reasons why one should opt for reconditioned computer when there is a myriad of new modern machines flooding the market. The answer is simple; the economy, the robust and time tested operating system and the privacy issues associated with it, and perhaps the special software you might be using that did not migrate yet to a new platform. In my case it was the blend of all above with the latter being the prevailing one. I also had many concerns, namely the condition of the machine, the transport survivability, and the timely shipment. The shipment arrived earlier than expected. Impatiently I opened the box. Al items, the computer, keyboard, mouse, Windows 7 CD with instructions and the warranty sheet, were packed generously with bubble wrap. I found the keyboard and mouse to be like new. The computer had on the top panel a spot of wear where the monitor used to sit. The OS was preinstalled together with the temporary virus protection software. Following the instructions, I used a new authentication key to register the Windows 7 for support and updates. I am using this computer now over a month and I have to say that I am very satisfied with this purchase.
