Maybe because it is a discontinued shade
This eyebrow pencil is so dry that I can hardly apply it without fear of breaking the point. It is the discontinued Taupe shade so perhaps it is just old. Frustrating Pencil with Terrible Color Pay-off
The pencil is hard. I tried to soften it by holding the tip between my fingers which didn't help at all. The pencil will not apply to the skin smoothly; instead it hits and misses the brow area creating a mess.
