Excellent low-cost router, discontinued but available with online sellers
I have been enjoying using this router to provide a good signal to our smartphones, Rokus, smart TVs, wife's PC on other side of the house from our cable modem, and other smart devices. Because nothing lasts forever, I like to have spares of products that work well, and therefore bought this unit to use when/if it is needed. I also bought a third one to give to a friend whose current wifi is weak. I have found that this TEW-711BR, while rated as 150 megabytes/second, produces signals recorded as high as 40 megabytes/second (at 30-40 feet from the router) down to 18-20 megabytes/second at the farthest room in our home (about 80-90 feet, through walls). This is more than adequate for fast downloads and un-buffered streaming. Setup is also relatively easy, and allows personalized security to safeguard home network.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
