H&R Block - not so fancy but gets the job done
Got this software in August to finish my taxes before the October deadline. Installation and updates were smooth. Same with state download. It found the TurboTax file from the previous year and imported the data accurately. Navigation is OK. Not too fancy, but everything is there. I had a complicated tax situation with business income and IRA roll over this year. It handled it really well. Same with the new insurance forms, etc. etc. Help is to the point. All the info is there, not too little, not too much. I would recommend this product. Turbo tax has a virtual monopoly and has hiked its prices. H&R does the job at a fraction of the cost.
