Save that large desktop hard disk

simple external hard drive hookup
I had a computer "fry" that had nearly 1000 old family pictures on it, which I had done in a scanning/restoration project. The tech pulled the hard drive and said it may or may not be good. This device was inexpensive and worth the try. Oh this thing is a time saver. No need to tear apart my pc to hook in a new drive just to store my work files. Didn't work for me
But I think that that was because the hard drive was totally dead, anyway. The enclosure powered on. Two cons I would mention is just how short the connector wires to the HDD are with this thing.
