Love these
I have the original Verilux lamp and buy these for replacements. They work perfectly for reading, writing, etc. I love the light they give off. To me it is the best lighting and no yellowing looking bulb, I have 2 lamps that take these type bulbs and I leave the lamps on probably 10 hours per day and the bulb last for years. Mixed enlightenment
The bulb was (is) quite good. Unfortunately, the lamp was junk, unrepairable, and had to be thrown away.
