    Great tool!

    The gauge was the perfect size for the ammeter hole in the dash of my 1950 Ford 8n. It works perfectly and is accurate enough for me to make sure that the tractor is not overheating and that the thermostat is operating correctly. The small complaint I have is that the lead is a bit short. It just made the distance to the front of the head. But, the lead is able to tuck out of the way of limbs and such so I am happy.

    Temp gauge

    Tried 2 others before this one and they would not seal where they go into the block. This one sealed perfectly and works great on my 1953 Ford Tractor.

    Wrong size fitting and probe

    This temp gauge was advertised to fit a Ford 8n tractor. The space allowed for drilling a temp gauge hole in a 8n flathead can't be any larger than 7/16". The fitting on this gauge is 3/4". It's simply to large, other than that it appears to be a good quality gauge.
