The Oakley crankshaft sunglasses are excellent for use in very bright sunlight condition. Or excellent for blocking out UV rays from the sun to protect your eyes. I bought these glasses at a great price and they on time. The only "problem" with them is that they are not good for driving. The problem is that the frame is wide right where your peripheral vision would be to help see to the sides. This can be a big problem when backing up or changing lanes. The manual that comes with the glasses does tell you that they are not intended for driving, but there was no mention of this on the website when I bought them.

These crankshafts fit well (I need a larger frame usually) and are lightweight. They are almost too lightweight to the point of feeling cheap but for a pair of good quality glasses that you won’t worry about damaging or being rough with they fit the bill. Definitely not the same heavier feel of other models or brands (costa for instance) but for the price they are a good value for a reputable brand with good polarized lenses.
