Use of ball mill to remove broken staffs,watch balance wheel restaffing.
By chucking the ball mill in the lathe tailstock, one can safely remove the hub of a broken balance staff, by chucking up the balance wheel in the headstock.. I realize this is a niche use but saves a lot of balance wheel distortion in restaffing.
