Stamina X Ab Exercise Bench
Was injured in a fall and my PT strongly urged me to purchase a “Roman Chair.” I scoured around quite a bit and came up with the Stamina X Ab. It takes about 90 minutes to assemble. Welds are excellent. But its biggest feature is that it folds up and can be easily stored. It is making a substantial improvement in my back and leg that I sometimes use it just to limber up. Improvements? Include a DVD of how to assemble. And the DVD should have a plethora of exercises and how to properly use it. The price was right-and I just love it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Value + Quality
This bench offers incredible quality for the price. It approaches the quality of the bench I use in physical therapy for just a fraction of the price of processional equipment. The bench easily handles my 6' 2" height and 190 pound weight, and it's clear that the advertised 250 pound limit won't begin to challenge the equipment. There is a lot of strengthening redundancy built into the design that probably isn't really needed. A backing plate on the leg bracket and a backup friction knob on the height adjustment are just two examples. The powder coat finish is excellent, and all nuts and bolts are covered with plastic caps. The assembly instructions are quite clear for anyone with even just basic mechanical aptitude and skills. It seems that one-half of my assembly time was taken with just removing the excellent protective packaging from each component. The only negative is that the provided wrenches are woefully INADEQUATE! Be prepared to beg, borrow, or steal both a 17 mm box/open-end wrench and ratchet wrench with 17mm and 12mm sockets to get things properly tightened.
